Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I dreamt up an idea for a form flattering, pocketed, deeply hooded, futuristic, funky cowled, body hugger while it was, yes, raining in Las Vegas!
It is a think interlock material with a contrasting medium weight cotton lining in the hood and pockets. The pockets were designed with flattering the female form in shape. The piping is one of my own techniques and has a french twist texture to it and is constructed from the matchinf contrast cotton. This garment is hooded with a deep cowl. I really dig the futuristic look, like CQ style stuff, so I wanted to try and create something “Agent Dragonfly” would wear. I am going to make some more int he future, these are really easy to theme and customize. I am going to experiment more with shapes to see if I can get some new ideas. The cowl is pointed in the front center to make a shapely sculptured collar when worn down. The contrasting fabric has vines and golden moths on it. I really love the kind of “magic garden” theme.

Material Notes
I loved LOVED the interlock fabric I found, it is different and much nicer than jersey. Not to mention much more durable but a little more difficult to control for some reason.
