Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I combined two patterns and put my own little twist on them. Took the one piece kimono tee and cut it into two pieces, made the back lace. Then, as I didn’t like the crew-neck collar of the kimono tee pattern, I borrowed the V-neck pattern from the Batwing Tee. Worked out pretty well! :) V-necks are real hard to sew it turns out . Not bad for only my third project! :)

Hi, would you mind explaining how you combined the v neck from the batwing top to add to the kimono tee pattern, as this is exactly what i am looking for too! Many Thanks

I just printed off both patterns, folded the kimono pattern in half vertically (since the batwing pattern is cut on the fold) and lined the shoulders up (they won’t line up exactly because the kimono top has a straight shoulder and the batwing is sloped so you just have to kind of guesstimate) and then drew a line along the v-neck onto the kimono pattern and cut. then when it came time to sew the v-neck on i just followed the instructions from the batwing pattern
