Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This skirt is based on the starburst skirt pattern. I really fell in love with the pattern, but it turned out that it doesn’t really fit my morphology. High waists are not so good for me. So I made it lower.
I made the skirt in a deep blue wool/viscose fabric. I found it a little too plain, so I added a strip of faux leather, and little faux leather bows. But I forgot to include a slit at the back, so it’s quite difficult to walk with it ! and almost impossible to climb stairs, as I unfortunately discovered while I was at some fancy work event, wearing it…
Maybe I’ll add the slit, but I’m not sure if I like this skirt or not.
