This dress has been hanging on my dress form for quiet some time. I figured it would be too elegant for my taste… and could not find the energy to keep on sewing.
Finally I took it down, dedusted it and finished it. With the two laces I figured it would not look that elegant and now I actually do like it. It is the Simplicity pattern No. 4 of the magazine 2/2013. I had to adjust the top some because it was too loose but more than that, it was easy to do. It fits perfectly now and it has a good feel to it. Probably also beause of the light cotton-silk fabric.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
