Description

I found this fabulous sheet at the Goodwill and thought it would be perfect for this 1940s pattern I have. Unfortunately, the stripes are uneven and not reversible so I couldn’t do the chevroned top like I had in mind. However, I made up the skirt part and I’m debating whether to sew up the whole dress another way or leave it as a skirt.

Material Notes

Cotton sheet.

That is an amazing skirt! The fabric really was a perfect choice for the pattern. I’m jealous. :[

That fabric was such a lucky dip! The skirt is great. I suggest you sew the top of the dress separatly then you have an ensemble

Wow, it’s great! I love the fabric. I’d leave it as a skirt, it goes so perfect with that shirt.
