This dress is a hybrid of a vintage laura ashley bodice and mccalls skirt, made for a fundraising cocktail party we went to recently. It’s made from cotton sateen and fully lined. Thebodice has boning, which is stitched to the shell. The fabric is recylced and cost about 50pence. In honesty, I really don’t love this fabric, but is part of ongoing personal challenge to make mainly from recycled fabric at the moment. Please excuse the wrinkles! And surly look- I am not normally this cranky, only when my husband is not taking the photographer role seriously.
