this dress almost got shoved in the dreaded UFO bag when my first attempt at grading a pattern went HORRIBLY wrong…
i wish i had a full length to show you, but i only have a very bratty one, complete with tongue sticking out, which won’t make sense here. it does make sense at oonaballoona, if you want a peek. the before picture will certainly illicit a chuckle…
my second try at a swayback adjustment, and i LOVE this adjustment! where has it been all my life?
the pattern is vintage, mccall’s 5490, and i loved it so much i’ll probably make the maxi version too… in the same fabric, different colorway. is that bad?
