This is a basic dress that is made from leftover fabrics that does not have any darts. This is a technique that is called “flat pattern cutting” Sometimes it does not give a proper fit but I think I achieved it in this dress. This technique is better suited for knits or fabrics with stretch.
The dress has round neckline with extended shoulders, invisible zip at back. The top is of a snake skin fabric and the skirt is plain with a slight A line shape.
This is a perfect use of leftover fabrics. What do you think?
