Chocolate brown dress made from pattern with some changes. I am a huge fan of frills so i added them. Put a dart each on the center front and added a seam at the center back.

This looks great! I love the ruffles! I love ruffles in general. The color is very nice too! I would buy this. It looks like something you could buy at a store! Good job!

Thanks for the answer about the strap arrangement. I know what you mean about fallout. You’d figure “the girls” would try to stay undercover for protection….Cordially, Nehmah

You and your dress look so fine. The frilled neckline add that “extra” something which gives individuality to your wardrobe. I have a question, ( I’m nosy.;o) The illustration shows a side tie; your dress has a double sash. Is this personal preference, or is it easier to keep the dress closed when moving around? I veer away from most wraps, although I really like them. My size through the belly means an extra button or ties for modesty’s sake. Cordially, Nehmah

The dress is made with two straps. The left strap is longer and is push through an opening in the right seam, comes around the back and is tied to the right strap to my left. It keeps the dress in place much better. One problem with wrap dresses is that the bust part most times needs a safety pin to keep boobs from falling out. Hope this helps.
