Description

Such a satisfying project! I’ve sewn three Colette Beignets now (tho my second one was gifted to a friend). I’ll make more, for sure!

I used a Quilting-weight kona cotton for the shell and vintage bedsheet fabric used for the lining. Turquoise buttons were a bit of a splurge for this thrifty gal ($20 for 12! GAHG!), but totally worth it. happy sigh. I chose cotton simply so I could wear this skirt thoughout the different seasons.

The pattern is labeled “intermediate,” and I guess I’m a big baby because it seems more “advanced” due to the graded seams/ seeminly intricate details/etc.. But the end result is so rewarding!

Material Notes

Kona cotton, vintage bedsheet, buttons
