  I used a pattern from New York Style Kids Clothes Patterns Part 2 (which can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=8632287). I copy patterns onto freezer or wax paper. Dresses like this take less than 30 minutes to copy the pattern, cut and sew.
