This dark blue checked fabric comes from my mother’s skirts which I altered into classical daily blouse with 3/4 sleeves. I used to use part of dress pattern which was in last year burda (august), a little bit changed it and put another bottom part in trapezium shape. I also added tucks in front to fit my figure and made lower edge so that I can lengthen it someday if I’ll want it. And the most niggling part of all was to work with blouse’s neck, but the result of it I really like, simple, but nice.
silk, crepe de Chine
