Description

I’ve always wanted a hat like this for my Johnny Depp doll and then I came across a Burda hat pattern for children that had exactly what I was looking for! So I miniaturized the pattern and voila! A dapper chapeau for my doll! I made it with Italian wool suiting with a china silk lining and buckram to stiffen the bill. Italian wool suiting is very spendy, so it’s a good thing that this didn’t take much to accomplish!

LOL, when I saw the picture, I thought that is a really strange looking dude. It’s only a doll. The cap is very cool.

Thanks, WackyBlonde! He’s one of my favorite dolls. I had funny shrinking a Burda hat pattern to make it.
