My second Danielle, this time in cotton jersey. I’ve not sewn patterned fabric much before and keeping my place on this was a bit difficult at times. Despite being a knitted fabric I oversewed all the edges as it dropped bits all the time. Also needed to interface the facing as there was too much rolling happening, no zipper, the stretch enables it to be pulled straight over my head. The sleeves were a nightmare, way too much of them, but got them to fit after cropping about 4cm off. Trimmed with grosgrain ribbon (I do like ribbon :) ), pretty happy with the result.
Stretchy, cotton jersey, fusible interfacing, elastic, thread and grosgrain ribbon.

Thankyou Zumurruda, I wore it to the cinema last night and it was so comfortable, I think this is my stansard dress pattern :)

Thanks Patti, just wish I was a few inches taller, the dress looks more elegant when it’s on a longer body!
