I’m going to Surfer’s Paradise for a couple of weeks at the end of the month and wanted to make a night gown / lounge dress suitable for sleeping and sitting out on the balcony in! Originally I was going to use a vintage pattern I have for an adorable nightgown, but I haven’t yet scanned it and I couldn’t stand to cut the pattern until I had – then I realised that the Danielle dress was just about identical! I graded the pattern up, removed the zip allowance and also created a different facing pattern to add a shelf bra. I think the lace gives it a suitably vintage air :)
Stretch cotton, lace trim, elastic
