Currently living in Bavaria, Germany I decided to buy a dirndl, but could not afford the blouse on top of the already expensive dress. The blouses in the shop seemed simple enough, so why not make one?
As soon as I saw the Danielle pattern, I thought it would work perfectly. For how little experience I have, I thought it was a pretty simple pattern to follow and worked out well. Made the bodice, band, and sleeves, and it took every last piece of fabric I had. Everything is fully lined.
1 yard of cotton eyelet
1 yard of cotton broadcloth (lining)
