I used the Daniel trousers pattern for the bottom part of these overalls and drafted the bib, back, and straps myself after studying how my son’s and daughter’s store bought overalls were constructed.
I messed up a bit on the pant size. These are already more snug in the waist than I would like them. I should have gone one size bigger so she could wear them longer. I did make the straps extra long so that I could move the buttons down as she grows, but they’ll get too tight in the waist before I need to do that.
See the instructions for how to draft a bib, back, and strap pattern based your own child’s size!
You can probably figure out how to sew the pieces together, but when I make the next pair, I’ll take photos so I can post sewing instructions, too.

Aww, how cute, love the first photo. Thank you for posting a project based on mine, I have never seen anything based off or made from one of my regular patterns only my costumes patterns.

Thank you so much for posting the pattern! I used it for some corduroy pants for my son and I’ve made several pairs of elastic waisted shorts to go under my daughter’s dresses with it, too.
