I had to make a Dandy Style outfit for a college course. So I took the Jakob Shirt, and the Jochen pants and made them, both a bit more slim fit. I added a roud club collar to the shirt and also changed the cuffes to a round edge and made both in white cotton. My fioncee knitted the bow tie and the outfit was done…

In AWE!!!
Just one garment would have been impressive, but you made an outfit. AN OUTFIT!!!
Meanwhile, someone may want to bring Joost some water and find him a place to sit. I’ve never seen him this worked up before.

Thank you all for your comments. After starting a bit concerned if I could do something like this (through then the only thing I have sewed was a dress for my fioncee: http://www.burdastyle.de/burda-style/damen/minikleid-drapee-falten-shirtkleider_pid_213_5057.html). But after buying the fabrics and getting started I totally got sucked into this whole project and tried to get it as good as possible.
By the way, my main college subject is photography, so I know a good photo can make everything look good. eg. the glance of the pants looks way cooler on the photo than in reality… ;-)
@joost52: I don’t mind at all. If nobody should see this I wouldn’t have posted it here anyways. ;-)

Holly bloody smokes. This is your first BurdaStyle project? What an entrance! It looks totally amaze-balls. Great finish, amazing fit, fantastic fabric choice, and that green pocket detail just blows my mind. Hope you don’t mind that I got a little over excited and plastered you all over the internet: http://makemypattern.com/posts/Man-made-Dandy-Style-Outfit-by-Trisman
