This skirt took me a few months to make, and it really shouldn’t have, as it is pretty much straight sewing – but I haven’t been well. Any way, I made two versions of the skirt, and joined them together to make it reversible. I also added the side detailing and on the pocket as well. Although I LOVE the firefly fabric, I have found I prefer wearing the other skirt more .. . I guess I am feeling a little shy! My husband calls it my “going out apron”!
The blue firefly is Japanese indigo cotton, the red & white is cotton upholstery fabric, the black is corduroy and the other print is just a cotton quilt print.
