I was delighted to find some raw silk in these magnificent hues at my local Goodwill a few weeks ago and have been dreaming up the right dress for them since. This was my first time working with this type of silk and it was wonderful. The texture, durability, richness and ease of working with this fabric will have me seeking it out in the future.
I took the bodice and skirt from two different patterns and added the 3/4 length sleeve and ruffle myself. It’s lined and has a full zip up the back.
Now I just need some blue skies and sunshine!

Love the colors. They make the lady like frock the mark of a rebel. Charmed!
