My dad has a very special taste for his shirts, he is so picky. My mom bought him this one and he never liked it, haha. So instead of throwing it away, he gave it to me and of course I turned it into a dress. Instead of using the leftovers of the shirt for the straps I used a white fabric ribbon, and I changed the buttons to red ones.
Man's shirt, white fabric ribbon, red buttons, scissors and thread.

i love it!!! and you wear it so well. my hubby has a pile of old shirts he wants to get rid of and you’ve inspired me to take them off his hands and get to work. :)

I bet your dad regrets he ever discarded this shirt! Maybe shirts with straps (and no sleeves) is the next thing for men(easier to open that tanktops), better for suntanning. Are you sure you still want to go to buy fabric when you have many things available at home ?;) The dress suits you!

FUN! In German you could say “seins ist meins” – it means his his mine… we should start a category for men’s clothes being changed into women’s – what do you think?

Wow, looks really great. And the fabric is really nice. Now I’ll have to make one as well :-)
