I made the bodice out of a sheer, cream fabric and the skirt out of a floral-patterned crepe. I lowered the back neck, modified the darts to fit and modified the skirt so that it was less A-line. Somehow, the bodice-skirt seam sat so that the bodice “puffed out” and gave the illusion that this dress was a sheer singlet tucked into a high-waist skirt!
