I love summer!
So here’s another easy and cute summer dress, or all-season dress, depending on the material and length.
I chose a lightweight blue/white cotton shirting since I’ve been in love with all manners of eyelet, seersucker and stripes.
This is based on Simplicity pattern #2496.
The instruction were straight forward enough until I got to the facing/collar part. The diagrams were a bit confusing, which is the only thing that makes it “intermediate” as opposed to “novice”.
The shirting I used tended to pucker until I switched to a fine point machine needle.
I chose to use a ladder zipper.
