High waisted skirt with tie, pockets. Hits just above the knee.
Material Notes
Fabric used---stashed black/silver pin strip. I had the fabric for more than 14 years so I have no ideas what type of fabric it is. My guess is suiting. I used the same fabric to trip the waist and hem. Super easy project. I was able to make this skirt in one week sewing 1 to 2 hours per day. The most difficult part of making this skirt was inserting the invisible zipper. The waist band is very bulky you have to be very careful and not sew too close to the teeth of the zipper.
