1.I have just cut the fabric along
the width in strips of around 9cm width including seam allowance and stitched the strips together.
2.Then cut into half that is a width of 44cm(including seam allowance) and my bag’s length is
around 30cm. (*Note:The final width of bag acquired at the end is around 34cm so the base is according to that width)
3.Then attach lining (44cm width and 30cm length).
4.With right sides together give
the side seams.
5. Then attach an oval base (with lining).
6. Then attach a strip at the top starting
from the centre of the bag width to insert a chord. 7.Then make a handle according to your length
and attach from inside..
7. Attach a flap at the back with a shape you want.. I did with the extra fabric that i cut away from the attached strips to acquire the length required.
(I know these are very rough steps but I just hope that this will help you.)
