Blouse made months ago with lavender linen and white poplin for the contrasting collar and cuffs. Perhaps a bit too cute for my taste…
I, for the first time (but maybe not last), went against the rules and cut it cross-grain rather than along the grain as I had little fabric. The linen is loosely woven, creases way too much – I just move my arms around and pop! it’s already awfully creased- but I love the colour and the softness of the fabric. This colour is pretty difficult to photograph, though, so I am sure it looks a bit odd on the picture.
