I made this cute little dress for my niece as I stumbled across the pattern and fell in love. It has a vintage feel to it and looks adorable with a petti-skirt, unfortunatly I dont have a photo with one on- note too self get better photos! I had purchased the fabric ultra cheap and also the lime green as a remmie. The patten was ultra quick and simple to make up. I had borrowed a rolled hem foot from my mum but apparently my old Elna doesn’t stich in the correct position, for that one, so I instead used a triple zig-zag on the edeges so I could still roll it- hope that makes sense! In the end, I love the extra detail it gave to the finished dress. This was the first time I ever attempted shirring (using elastic on the bobbin) so am very happy with the end result.
This is where I found the pattern, awesome blog-
