My first ever dress project – my confidence is building and i love how this turned out. Not perfect but getting better!!
This was based on the pattern by Rae: www.made-by-rae.com/2008/04/free-itty-bitty-baby-dress-pattern.html The Itty Bitty Baby dress which had been converted to a larger size by someone else.
I’ve made a few alterations as ive gone (didnt use bias tape).
A pile of fat quarters that matched.

Thankyou! My sewing is improving…. slowly!!! My husband now wants me to make the same dress in other fabrics for my nieces!! Now that is an honour!

Yes it is an honor. I’ve been making special dresses each Christmas for my husband’s granddaughters. it’s a thrill every year to see them in my creations. Which reminds me, I should post some of them here!
