This is a wonderful bolero that can be dressed up or dressed down. I made it from Simplicity pattern 3565. I originally made it to cover up a sleeveless dress I was wearing to a wedding knowing I would be cold. It worked great for that, but I occasionally wear it going out now with just a nice shirt underneath. It is very versatile and I plan to make it again in another fabric. I did change the pattern to make the sleeves the full length of my arm instead of cropped. I also put a hook and eye in the front where the lapels meet to keep it together, the satin was a little heavy and the hook and eye helped it keep its shape. It was also quite easy to make!
