You have done an excellent job of work Your seams are even, lay down correctly, and the nap runs true. Very neat. Nehmah

I love the curved lines of your skirt, and I’m very impressed you made this with so little experience. However, being the sewing nerd I am, I think there’s one thing that could have been even better… From the pictures, it looks like the edges along top, pocket and closure are just serged off. That will keep them neat, but doesn’t give extra strength, the result of which is visible at the closure. If I were making this skirt, I’d add a facing (reinforced with fusible interfacing) along the waistband and its closure, which should largely prevent the pulling and wrinkling at the buttons. Having said that, I’d like to repeat that I think your skirt is great, and I’m looking forward to seeing more creations from you.

Beautiful! I wasn’t really sure from the previous sketch, but I see the outcome and it is so beautiful! Great pocket too :)

I really like how you finished the garment with the hand stitching around the edges. Also I think the pocket is a nice touch!

I really love your skirt. it’s the cutest one I’ve seen. Where did you get the pattern? Could you upload it?

This skirt is a very cool idea – I couldn’t really imagine what it will look like on the basis of the drawing, but now it looks so cute! I like the yellow, it’s very summerly! A how-to would be great!!! ;-)
