Burda Style For people who sew
Description
My roommate needed a new tote bag, as hers was getting a bit worn out. She also gave me her old beige curtains. So, you can see what happened haha.
The lining is made of curtain, as is the outside. The bottom of the lining is a piece of place vinyl fabric I salvaged from an old suitcase; I figured since she’ll use the bag for carrying her swim gear, it would help if water couldn’t soak through. The outside has plaid (the same plaid from my messenger bag), and one of the sides has a pocket.
