Description

Cheap and cheery little curtain to brighten up my dull and boring little toilet. It is the one that visitors use so wanted to make it a little bit more colourful.

Material Notes

$2 remnant (main fabric) from my favourite shop – Vinnies, and bought the rust backing fabric from Lincraft ($14). The style of the main fabric is not usually the type that I would normally buy, but I loved its kitsch factor and the colours work perfectly with the border tiles in the laundry next door that visitors would use to wash their hands in.

Period movies – think swag with cascading side drops. This version gives a ‘hint’ of this style minus all the fuss (ha – trust me – if I can avoid fuss I do!).

The drape of the fabric on both sides looks very nice.
