I made this blouse out of a quilting weight cotton using the Sencha pattern from Colette Patterns. The pattern instructions were very easy to follow and the sturdiness of the fabric made it very easy for a beginner to sew. To be honest though, even though I love the style and think it’s pretty to look at on the hanger, I made it about a month ago and haven’t worn it yet – I’m worried it looks a bit too much like a curtain! Next time I make the pattern I’ll use a lighter, floatier fabric and will take it in more at the back. More pics on my blog.
