I looooove cupcakes—the fact that they’re basically mini-cakes, the variety, the frosting, oh the frosting. On a trip to New Orleans last year, my husband and I wandering into a gallery where we came upon a 2 ft tall, 3-dimensional cupcake made from plaster and tons of tiny mirror-pieces. It made me laugh and smile and I couldn’t stop walking around and around it…so I thought, “Why not try it in fabric!”
