Added Dec 20, 2013
I made this coat using crushed black velvet upholstery fabric, trimming it with a magenta binding for added distinction. The coat is lined with a luxurious black satin, has a button front and pockets.
The collar is stiff and can be worn folded down or popped up.
The bottom hem of this coat hits just above the knee and best fits a small or medium female of average height.
Arm length 22"
Collar to bottom hem 37"
Up to 40" bust
crushed black velvet upholstery fabric, satin lining, cotton polyester binding, buttons
I modified Simplicity 2508 for this piece.
