Commissioned by a friend who is a bartender and had been saving these Crown Royal bags for months. Once he heard I sewed, he asked me to make him a cloak for Halloween. The bags are made of flannel and I found the same material in black for the lining. First time doing a bagged lining! Turned out really well.
I sewed it all together in a way that, if he wanted, I could take it apart and make a quilt or a blanket out of it. It’s nice warm flannel, so would be perfect for it.

Sew cool, I did not think anyone else made things out of these bags! Two years ago, I was commissioned to make a quilt for one of my bar patrons. I had never quilted before but it tuned out brilliantly. It took just under 250 bags. Needless to say, you did fantastic work!
