Description

I used the Halter dress pattern minus the halter, added straps and used the skirt lining pattern for the skirt. I didn’t have enough fabric to make the belt, but I would love to make it at some point in the future.

Material Notes

I used a fun Marimekko remnant that I think is actually decorator fabric, but I wanted to wear it!

    i am attempting to make this dress with the sew along—however the fabric i ordered was from a 44" bolt— I was curious how much fabric was required to make this? Did you line your skirt? I like your idea of using the lining pattern for the skirt—i guess if I didn’t order enough fabric (5 yards) i can always do this too rather than pleats? Any info would be helpful—thanks!!!!
