I found this fabric at a fabric fair a few months ago and fell in love with the colour combination. You don’t see brown, pink, yellow and white mixed together very often. Unfortunately they had only about 1,20m left, but that didn’t stop me.
I initially planned a skirt for this fabric, but then changed my mind and made a jacket instead. I used a Burda pattern from last year, but I can’t seem to find the pattern online. I made a few adjustments: elbow-length sleeves, added darts, replaced the zipper in the original pattern with buttons, added bits of lace.
I’m happy with the result, considering it’s my first try at sewing a jacket.
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
