This is a blanket which I made for my sister. I crocheted four rectangles using a fantastic Japanese yarn (Noro Silk Mountain) and sewed these together. Then I made a border using 100% woolly merino yarn from Sublime giving it that traditional quilt look. It’s lovely and warm and because both yarns have merino in them it doesn’t itch. I am now working on a matching cushion to go with it.
9 skeins of Noro Silk Mountain, 8 skeins of Sublime Luxurious Woolly Merino, 6mm (US size J) crochet hook, darning needle.
