Description

I must say I love how this turned out! The fit is perfect and I just love the fabric.

It was fairly easy to make but I really do wish I had a dress form. It would have taken a lot less time. I first made the slip/mini dress. I just used a pattern I drafted a while ago for a bodycon skirt and made it high waisted then attached a sweetheart tube top. This was the first sweetheart neckline I’ve ever done and I need to figure out a better way to sew it, I could of came out a little better. Next I just cut two recangles to my measurements sewed up the sides then kept trying it on to get the right cut for the neckline ( this is where a dress form would have been nice) then just put elastic around the waist.

Material Notes

Slip- organic jersey
Maxi dress- black crochet fabric?
Black deer skin leather for neck tie.
