I decided to make a new dress for the Christmas holidays, using some long forgotten teckniques. the result was a simple navy wool shell of a dress, and a lot of crocheted circles. Then, hours of meticulous hand sewing later the dress was formed. Some little buttons from my nana’s ginormas stash of knick-knacks finished it off. More info on the process, plus a little sketch on my blog:
Navy wool mix for main dress, liberty lawn for lining of collar and inside bindings, woollen knitting wool and crochet hooks of various sizes for the crochet circles.
