I decided to make a new dress for the Christmas holidays, using some long forgotten teckniques. the result was a simple navy wool shell of a dress, and a lot of crocheted circles. Then, hours of meticulous hand sewing later the dress was formed. Some little buttons from my nana’s ginormas stash of knick-knacks finished it off. Navy wool mix for main dress, liberty lawn for lining of collar and inside bindings, woollen knitting wool and crochet hooks of various sizes for the crochet circles.
