I saw a dress similar to this in an ad and I loved it. I found material in almost the same fabric with a different color combination. Then I found Burdastyle’s 6/2013 pattern # 133 and decided to replicate the dress I saw. It is quite wide so I altered it by taking in a couple of inches on each of the side seams. Also, I had to line this as the material had a lot of peek a boo moments going on.
The magazine has step by step instructions with illustrations which helps a lot.

Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
