Used the Batwing top pattern by pixelink, with a few minor alterations.
Used a wider, rounder neckline and added a beaded crochet inset as a neckline detail and added a narrow hip band at the hem.
PM knit, crochet yarn, black-pearl colored beads (left overs from a gown that I made 6 months ago)

These types of tops are so comfortable, but I find they can be really plain. I love what you did with the detail, especially those little beads! Really makes that pop.
Btw, I featured your top on my blog:

thank you ladies for the comments, those are really heartwarming and inspiring…
erta27 >> thank you so much for liking my version of the batwing top enough to make mention of it in you blog… that is just so flattering… and yes, I find it plain too (esp. with my use of a plain black knit) that’s why I ended up adding a crochet detail to it… thanks again.
