During my learning I had not enough time to sew so I started crocheting and the result is this bag…
The bag is not big enough to put a Din A4 page in it but it is a nice mini shopper. The bag was a lot of work, especially because of the change of the black and withe (as you can see in the last picture)!
I pint on the rose from my evening project
I still want to add a lining, so nothing can become entangled.
Do you like it?
PS: I used this popcorn stich

This bag is awesome! I’m tempted to “steal” the look for a laptop case I’m making as a Christmas gift for my sister!

Yes to change the colors was really the worst part of the project. Luckily I followed no pattern so I changed the colors every time I thought it would look nice…
To be honest, I only introduced the second color, because the black one would not have done it for the hole bag.

Very nice! I love the transition from black to white. Sounds like you are describing a “popcorn” stitch if you are finishing each double crochet and then pull them all together, or else a “bobble” stitch if you leave the last loop for each double crochet on the hook until you pull the stitches together… if that makes sense. From the first photo I would guess it’s a popcorn stitch.

Thank you! You are right, it is a popcorn stich. I searched for it at the web and it is exactly this stich.
So again, thank you ;O)

To me it seems like “tunisian” (?) crocheting, as we call it here… but I´m not sure :).

No it is not. It is some sort of shell stich… I’ll try to find the description I used!

This is some sort of shell stitch, were you pull all 4 double crochet stitches afterwards together. Maybe you find a description at the web?!
Sorry I could not find the description I used anymore…

Its a beautifull crochet project, it looks so contemporay! You can also put a bit af cardboard in the bottom of your bag, and you defenetly have to put some lining in, otherwise your lovely work wil be ruined!

WOW! Super! I knew there are a lot of things you can crochet but a whole bag! I guess the main ingredient was patience?

Thats right! Some days, or evenings my fingers just hurt from crocheting. My boyfriend always sad, I should stop if they do so…but I did not…
Thank you for your nice comment ;O)

that’s a ton of colour changes! the overall look is really pretty & modern. what kind of stitch did you use for the main body of the bag?

The stitch is some sort of shell stitch were you work 4 or 5 double crochet stitches in the same stitch and then you go with your needle through the first stitch and the loop at the end and pull all stitches together…
Sorry I could not find the description anymore, witch I used…Maybe you try it out?
