Inspired by an awesome pair of blue wedges and member natalia-g’s popular sunny yellow tent dress, I pictured this outfit in my mind months before the wedding I intended to wear it to. The only similar pattern I found though was McCall’s 8996—a rare 1960’s one with a hefty price tag. So, using a darted blouse I’d made as a sloper, tips from member ichigogirl, and some online images of the vintage pattern, I drew my own pattern and plan for constructing it. It was a fun project!
