To create the swirly detailing I used the left over scraps from when I cut out the base project, but you can also cut out long thin strips of fabric or different shapes depending on the look you’re going for. Then drap the fabric strips in swirl patterns on the area of your project you’re decorating. I choose to place the swirls on the neckline to use the neck facing for a little more stability. You can place the strips in any pattern you like.
