This was my first wearable project!! And it is very well made for a n00b. I had bought my first burda magazine and I chose this pattern because of its simplicity. I wore it just once to show it off and then went into the closet. I never finished the seams, back then I used a sewing machine that had no zig zag stitch (imagine that!). It has facing though.
BUT this is totally not my style. I like it but not on me. I made this long vest to learn and not to wear. So I’d like it to find a new home.
It’s up for swap here http://www.flickr.com/groups/upforswap/
Fabric at the bust measures 104cm (41 inches). You could add buttons to it or some other closure, like japanese knot buttons.
The fabric is a crispy textured crepe.
