Nowadays, peplum tops are widely popular. Gladly, Burdastyle has several peplum top patterns. It’s my fourth peplum top I made from Burdastyle. I thought about embellishing around neckline but didn’t know what to use to make it. I decided to make it plain for now. I used cream cotton blend and added zipper on the side under sleeve. I believe this pattern suggested the zipper upside down which I didn’t follow. Additionally, I hand stitched the sleeve and bottom hems.
The sequin skirt is also handmade! It’s not part of Burdastyle patterns. You can check tutorials
The top is also viewed in “That 70’s Swirl Skirt” in my studio.
