I really wanted a nice dress which would hopefully keep me warm so i thought this would look good in a thick cream cotton jersey, i made it a size larger to accomodate the thick material and it worked quite well, i had to take it in quite a lot at the sides but overall i’m quite pleased with the outcome as it’s the first proper pattern i’ve followed. I left off the ruffle because i thought it would be too bulky but i plan on making another as it really is the perfect pattern!
