Cream flower bombshell

This is my version of the bombshell dress. I took Gerties craftsy class and loved it. Sure, I was about to give up when the bust cups on my muslin didn’t fit and I just couldn’t get it right on my own. But after a little helt from a friend I was back on track. I’ve used so many new techniques in this dress and I learned so much. I just love this dress!

Wow, a strapless that stays on! Gorgeous fabric. I am working on something similar at the moment, re-making the Valentino in light flowery fabric.

I might actually add a halter strap, but it does stay up great on its own. Spiral steel boning and a waist stay really makes this one stay put :) Hope your dress turns out the way you want it!
